GIA clinic uses the Fotona laser - it is a completely unique timeless non-invasive method and a hit of aesthetic medicine, in which the skin is treated both from the outside and the inside with the help of the most modern laser technology and with a very significant lifting effect.

This makes it a great option for clients who do not want to use a thread lift, fillers or are reluctant to use a scalpel. The Fotona laser penetrates the skin in a way that non-invasive technologies have not been able to so far, stimulating collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the skin. On the surface, it brightens, smooths and unifies skin tone. The result is healthy and firm skin.

Four consecutive medical processes take place using two top-quality Fotona lasers, which are precisely adjusted to the values according to the specific skin type. 4D laser lifting is able to compete with the effect of fillers and, to some extent, thread lifting, and therefore achieves absolutely brilliant results without pain or the need for anaesthesia. It is a painless treatment with very fast recovery and unrivalled results.

Non-invasive method: This procedure is non-invasive, which means minimal pain, no need for surgery or long-term recovery.

The procedure is carried out in four simple steps:

Step One – A laser scanner emits a beam from the inside of the cheeks and lips (through the mucosa), inducing maximum contraction (tightening) of collagen fibers along with intense stimulation of collagen production. Immediately after treatment, a significant firming of the face is noticeable.

Step Two – A phase of non-invasive warming of the skin focusing on skin imperfections, pigmentation, etc. This step involves the removal of irregularities and firming of the skin along the jawline and cheekbones. The effect here is similar to that of a thread lift application.

Step Three – Support for new collagen formation using a non-invasive special scanner that penetrates deeply into the skin from the outside. A visible lifting effect is apparent immediately after the treatment.

Step Four – This involves a cold, superficial laser peel that beautifully smooths and brightens the skin’s surface, unifies the skin tone, closes enlarged pores, and reduces fine lines. The result is firmer, clearer, and more elastic skin.

Advice for the patient

The patient must schedule a consultation in advance with the doctor who will perform the treatment. During the consultation, the patient will receive all necessary information from the treating physician. This consultation is paid for by the patient.

Before the procedure, the patient must remove all body creams, ointments, makeup, or other substances from the areas where the treatment will be performed (cleansing or removal of substances can also be done at our clinic). At the request of the patient or in the case of treating larger areas, a numbing cream called EMLA will be used.

After the treatment, the skin may be slightly red at the sites where the FOTONA laser was applied (any redness will subside within two days). The patient is not restricted in their normal activities and can return to work immediately after the treatment.

It is recommended to protect the skin with a high SPF cream after the treatment. Additionally it is necessary to completely avoid saunas and sunbed visits. Further recommendations and information will be provided by the physician after the treatment.

Is the procedure painful?
Most patients report minimal to no discomfort during the procedure due to the use of local anesthesia.
Results are usually visible immediately after the procedure with gradual improvement over several weeks.
The number of sessions required depends on the individual skin condition and the client’s goals. Often one session is sufficient, but additional sessions may be recommended for maximum effect.
The results can last for several years but this depends on the lifestyle, age and skin type of the patient.
